When Google eats (an) Apple…

This is what Google gave all its new employees moving into its new Google offices in Zurich.
This is laser engraved…
If you read between the lines, Google is starting to eat some Apple(s).

I think they just want their employees to eat more fiber. Google is a “one trick pony” (ads) with some nice free stuff on the side. Apple is a tech company with great breadth, like IBM or Microsoft, except the products actually work.
Looks yummy. What can I say, but Google has great taste!
All the money Google has and they give their employees apples with the word “google” on it? Pretty lame. When the iPhone came out, Apple gave their employees one.
Apple 2.4 million iPhone; 2.3 million Mac; 150 million ipods; 201 stores
Google: 0 ( let me spell it for you: zero ); a crappy search engine in my opinion; even MS has better capabilities then Google for the typical Internet user.
Google doesn’t impress me one bit.
@lrd
Apple: 5% market share in personal computers; barely above Linux based machines.
Ipod: only highly successful product they have (that is losing it’s luster)
iPhone: soon to be made obsolete when Google wins the spectrum auction and provides FREE mobile phone service.
Google: has developed the new standard for mobile phones (android) that iPhone has not adopted
Google: worth about 6 times as much as a company than Apple and basically mints cash.
Offer me 100 shares in Google or Apple and I’ll take Google all day.
what could it mean?
Certainly that people are pompus until the end. That can’t be very sanitary either…
Don’t count google out just yet. They are involved in businesses you wouldn’t even dream they would be interested in: alternative energy, communications equipment, etc. You name it, they have invested VC in it.
OUCH! nasty responses - can we just let the kids have a good laugh and pump them up to compete and partner?
@footballerslives:
In agreement with you on: “Google: has developed the new standard for mobile phones (android) that iPhone has not adopted”.
I am not sure what and when it will be announced - but stay tuned - may be the 3GSM congress in Barcelona in a couple of weeks will be the place where Google will tell the world their mobile strategy.
Hehe, nice picture.
In my opinion, both win. I love both of them. You can see that Google and Apple working together.
Thnat would be more poweful.
