Cisco CEO touts next wave of collaboration

At the Interop conference in Las Vegas, Cisco CEO John Chambers talks about the need for businesses to increase productivity by implementing Web 2.0 tools such as wikis, mashups, and virtual conferencing.

John Chambers also explains how Cisco used Web 2.0 principles in its $7 billion acquisition of Scientific Atlanta where it took them 45 days to close the deal without using any means of online collaboration compared to 8 days for another deal to take place recently (I believe he was talking about the Webex acquisitation).
